Chevere! is a food concept developed by the Chevere Family, a Lower East Side “OG” Family, as an homage to their Puerto Rican heritage. Inspired by Manuel Chevere, or "POP" as he was lovingly referred to, the restaurant concept represents his infectious spirit for cooking, and his ability to use food as a vehicle to bring people together.

Puerto Rican cuisine is characterized by a distinctive blend of cultural influences - from the Spanish, Americans, Africans, and the Taíno –an indigenous group of people from Puerto Rico. The seasonings and flavors are bright, bold, and comforting.
